My 1971 Norton 750 Commando Roadster, Spring 2008
I purchased my Norton new from a gentleman named Henry Rissman who owned Rissman Motors of Albuquerque in April of 1971 for $1495.00 so I've owned it most of my life. This bike was rated the fastest in it's class in 1971. I've traveled extensively throughout the Southwest and Canada in the past, but more recently she is my daily rider in the spring, summer, and fall. I just finished restoring the Norton to it's original configuration and I have posted new pictures. Just go to the bottom of the page and click the links. Norton Villiars, the makers of Norton Motorcycles stopped production in 1976, therefore Norton's have become quite rare. I have also included links to pictures I have taken recently of different gatherings and party's I have hosted as well as several pictures of ski trips that I have gone on with my friends. You will also see pictures of my work with the Adaptive Ski Program, of which I have been a volunteer instructor for the last fourteen years. The Adaptive Ski Program is a non profit organization that offers ski lessons to people with disabilities at Sandia Ski Area and Ski Santa Fe in New Mexico. I am very sad to say that I recently lost my excellent pet Chuey, a fearless and loyal companion and Chi Warrior. He was a great little guy and I'm going to miss him so very much. God be with you Chuey, you're off to bigger and better places
